Perfection of the Salah — Session 3 Coming Soon, In shā’ Allāh

Following a wonderful response to Session 2

The second sisters’ session on “Perfection of the Salah” has now been successfully completed, alḥamdulillāh, with a wonderful response from attendees. Following many requests from sisters, a third session is being arranged — the date will be announced here soon, in shā’ Allāh.

Ladies’ Special Islamic Lecture — Dr. Nighat Hashmi (Pakistan)

Topic: “Unspoken Pain, Unfinished Duas”

City Mosque Preston is delighted to invite all sisters to a special Islamic lecture by Dr. Nighat Hashmi — renowned Islamic scholar, educator, author, Qur’anic commentator and founder of Al-Noor International. Author of the renowned Qur’an tafsīr “Qur’ānan ’Ajabā” and over 200 books on the Qur’an, Hadith, Seerah, women, education and character building, she has inspired and educated thousands of women around the world. The lecture will be delivered in Urdu with live English translation, making it accessible to both Urdu and English-speaking attendees. Lunch and refreshments will be served after the programme.

Dedicated spaces for sisters

Ladies' prayer hall

A dedicated prayer space for sisters, separate from the main prayer hall, providing a comfortable and private environment for worship.

Separate entrance & facilities

Sisters have a separate entrance and dedicated facilities to ensure privacy and comfort when attending the mosque.

Wudu (ablution) area

Clean and well-maintained wudu facilities are available for sisters to perform ablution before prayer.

Learning

Classes for sisters

We offer Qur'an and Islamic education classes tailored for sisters, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The following classes are run specifically for sisters, in a separate and comfortable environment.

  • Qur'an recitation with Tajweed
  • Qur'an memorisation support
  • Tajweed correction for improvers
  • Islamic studies and guidance
Children

Children's classes

Children's classes for boys and girls aged 5–13 are run alongside the sisters' programme.
